• On Our Radar: Chaser x Brand

Take of a whiff of something more than the sweet smelling fervor of the roses this summer, chase the sun with the Chaser Brand, a brand that is more tantalizing to the eyes than any smell to the senses. It would be an understatement to say that Chaser Brand is a brand slowly bursting into the scene of the fashion industry. With their retailers being some of the most exclusive and most posh stores on the market, one can only guess that Chaser lives up to their expectations of the dignified definition of opulence. Chaser Brand mixes contemporary, subtle styles with a laid back alternative trend that first draws in…

  • Say Whaaaaat?!

The “graphic tee” is a trend that most wear proudly. I mean, who doesn’t love making a really obvious statement? So, what happens when that statement isn’t as really obvious as you would like? You just end up looking like a big ol’ idiot… that’s what. To help you avoid such a fate, we’ve put together a few shirts that you should avoid like the plague. Fake real? Real fake? What?! So… don’t like it? First of all, love is one syllable. Second of all, the phonetic spelling is \ˈləv\, not [luhv]. And one of those will be this t-shirt. Pugsylvania… really? How ’bout them commas? Eh? Yeah… That doesn’t…

  • Black is the New Black

I faced my worst fear this past weekend. Spring. Shopping. The thought of wearing pastels literally makes me cringe. I’ll wear black till I die, and I don’t care what time of year it is. Despite this soap box I often find myself standing on, I will be the first to admit that there’s also a trend follower in me. I’m down for crop tops, printed pants, and lip stick, but some of the on-trend styles are stifling. And the lack of originality in spring clothing just kills me. There must be a line. So, for all of my fellow noir lovers out there, here’s a head-to-toe list of how…

  • Kate Moss x Topshop: Glitter, Feathers, and Fringe…Oh My!

Kate Moss collaborated with Topshop, AGAIN. But she’s come back with designs that are somehow better than last time (is that even possible?). We’ve gone through all of the pieces and hand picked our absolute favorites…and let me tell you, there’s a lot. Kate Moss x Topshop from ANON Magazine on Vimeo. Photo Source

  • Happy Birthday, Vivienne Westwood!

Happy Birthday to the one and only queen of punk, Dame Vivienne Westwood! You know how to drape a dress, that’s for damn sure, but you also inspire us to stack our plaid, rip every t-shirt we’ve ever owned, and never underestimate the power of a solid mohawk. This punk goddess has ripped through the times with her endless imagination, opinions, and limitless talent. No stranger too strange, Vivienne only punks out the best celebrities and just seems to never stop. The provocateur has endless acclaims and mentions to her name, but you’ll never find her comfortable. Constantly pushing the boundaries of clothing and fashion, she has found opposition as…

  • What We’re Loving: Clashist

The first collage I ever made was for the 100th day of third grade. I (aka my mom) cut out 100 pictures of Elmo and pasted them on to a poster. The second collage I ever made was a deranged combination of Vogue and Tiger Beat cut-outs and Lisa Frank stickers, but mostly just pictures of teenage heart throbs. So, in memoriam of the day after the day of love, we bring you Clashist. The collage has grown up but remains deranged, nonetheless. Clashist has taken the faces of Billy Murray, James Franco, and Zach Galifianakis and brought them to the masses on t-shirts and leggings. I don’t know about…

  • Men’s Obsession: Fashion Week

So many fashion shows, men’s included, have weird clothes that look cool, but you could never wear them. Not in the states at least. So, we found three Fashion Week looks that are ready-to-wear and won’t make you look silly. Jack Spade’s collection absolutely killed it this year. Full of great suits and lots of fall-appropriate colors. This is a great example of the nearly one-toned suit with simple variations. A dark brown bag, with slightly lighter shoes, lighter even suit, and the lightest shade on the shirt. It is finished off with a black tie and a lapel flower to match. Fall’s version of blue on blue on blue looks…

  • Men’s Obsession: Doodles Homme

A few months ago, we happened to stumble across an up-in-coming menswear brand out of LA called Doodles Homme. As a few of you may recall, we even helped promote their Kickstarter for them. But anyway, within a few days of discovering this badass brand, they graciously sent us a bunch of samples from their new line, and well, this is the product of that. We rounded up a few model friends and a cool photographer and made our way out to Austin for a photo shoot. The brand has everything from patterns and prints to t-shirts and button-ups, as you can see. If this isn’t enough to make you…

  • New Year, New You

February! One of the best months to show off your winter wear and all of those layers of cuteness. The new year can bring in a new wardrobe and a new sense of style. If you’re tired of having the same slouchy look and want to “vamp up” your wardrobe, check out the Polyvore sets included! If you’re ever having trouble with finding what to wear, I’d suggest going to websites like Polyvore or going on Tumblr and searching “fashion” (or something similar). It’s just like a look book of a variety of styles, not just one certain look. That’s the great thing about fashion and being you. You get…

  • A Revived Trend: The Peplum

Shut the front door! Peplum tops are making a comeback, and they are so adorable! These were pretty popular in the 40’s, and now they are becoming incredibly popular again. If you don’t know what a peplum top is, I’ve got a couple examples. This one here is a pretty basic one. You could wear it with Capri’s or jeans, to pretty much any daily occasion. (Excuse me while I unleash my inner Stacie London here). The awesome thing about these tops is that, it doesn’t matter how much weight you may have gained over the holidays or anything like that, nobody will ever notice! I mean really, everyone…
