New York City is a place where you can find almost anything. This body of work is an exploration of my every day life, living and breathing in this place I call home. New York Wanders is a series taken within the past three to four years of my life here, walking around the streets feeling isolation in a “city that never sleeps,” yet capturing tender and anonymous moments within the fleeting existence that this city nourishes. It is a stimulating place, full of anonymity with a kind of culture where distraction is eminent. These photographs function as a way to make still the moments of wonder in a city that endlessly wanders.
