We’re all aware how chaotic SXSW can be; with all the day and night parties, free tacos and beer, never enough coffee, and an endless amount of bands to revel in, the idea of a hangover party sounds mighty appealing. Come Sunday, March 19th, Burger Records is celebrating their fifth Hangover Fest at Paper Tiger in San Antonio with a stream of must-see acts on their roster. Taking place on four stages with over forty bands, you’ll want to grab your crew and head on down south for this rager. The lineup boasts performances by headlining acts Temples and Har Mar Superstar, shoegaze and dream-pop gems No Joy and Cosmonauts, psychedelic vibes from JJUUJJUU and Night Beats, as well as local Austin favorites Hundred Visions and The Rich Hands. Cherry Glazerr was also announced as a recent addition to the lineup, with our contributor Jose Cacciapaglia graciously praising their new album and stating that “Apocalipstick still has that teen garage vibe, but they’ve grown into their sound in an incredible way. This album brings everything from hard hitting riffs to soul striking melodies. Personally, this album is my style all the way through. I have the privilege of seeing the band perform this March, and I can tell you I’ll be front and center, losing my voice. Find their local show for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.” This show will be all ages and you can purchase general admission and VIP tickets for the fest here.
