Described as “desert rock from the sun stricken soil of Austin, TX”, Greenbeard bring out the heavy rock ‘n’ roll grooves with a psychedelic twist. Chance Parker, Marc Maddox, Buddy Hachar and Ethan Thayer have seen an incredible amount of achievement since the formation of their band Greenbeard, and rightly so. With their success of their self-titled album last November, their current eight date tour from Texas to the Pacific Northwest, and with Denver’s The Underground Music Showcase in store for them on July 25th, you’ll surely be hearing more from Greenbeard in the near future, if you haven’t already. Make sure to catch them live on June 5th…

Photography: OMZA (autonomy) (Website / Instagram) This series is based loosely off of the Iceberg theory, suggesting deep subconscious thoughts, dreaming, and ego in each piece. These pieces are not just jewelry but wearable sculptures with a concept. Made to remind us of feelings and fantasies rather than literal images. I chose specific metals, finishes, and stones to incorporate their energies to theses ideas.

At certain points throughout the day, I find myself looking at all these beautifully unique, intricate masterpieces. All of them look different from one another, but belong to one another in this way I can’t help but to announce to myself. Everyone is white, here… Mostly pale white. I’m this deep red brown from the sand of some sea I can’t pronounce or seem to remember. I’m here. Aren’t I here? Where are the ones that look like me. Sure there are little pockets of us occupying the street. But not many of us. If you understand where I am going, please buy a ticket. An artist is an…

From the moment I began Jacco Gardner’s new single ‘Hypnophobia’, I immediately felt as if I had been transported to a different time and place. In this psychosis, I am wearing a dashiki and bobbing my head to new sounds being played over the radio. Except, this is 2015, and Jacco Gardner’s new single is definitely form fitting for our time. ‘Hypnophobia’ starts off with a very hypnotic melody that circulates throughout the entire single. After a few light spins, a heavy bass sets in and the rhythmic guitar gets stronger and stronger. I’m reminded of the Mamas and The Papas until an even heavier bass rift comes forth…
