I knew I was going to do a TON of walking, but man am I sore!  I have shin splints, my knees are killing me, and I have three bruises on my legs.  Fashion week sure does put your body through hell, but let me tell you, it’s worth it.

So, lets talk Band of Outsiders – probably one of the coolest shows so far.  They had a giant screen that showed an image of an LA street, and they had a huge “HOLLY” sign.  The image on the screen moved with the music.  It was a complete experience, and let me tell you, that experience was amazing.  Not only was the backdrop appealing, but the VIP list was also pretty rad featuring such names as Lake Bell, Greta Gerwig, Morgan Saylor, and Rashida Jones (who is extremely beautiful in person).

This collection was a mix of everything: athletic wear, the 90s, prep school, and of course menswear.  You can say it was a melting pot.  The show started with a white sheer striped dress, had a splash of color here and there, and finished with a white long t-shirt dress with a diamond cut out on the back.  My favorite piece in the collection? The bright yellow rain coat!

Of course, the one show, or presentation, I was looking forward to the most was Alice + Olivia.  Stacey Bendet is one of my FAVORITE designers!!  I love practically everything she touches.  This collection was a mix of schoolgirl prep and feminine lace dresses.  Honestly, each season just gets better and better.  It’s a proven fact.  Did I mention that Taylor Momsen was there?  Well she was, and again, it was pretty amazing.  She donned an A+O LBD, high ponytail, red lip, and brown smoky eye.  She looked beyond gorgeous and is actually extremely sweet.

I also went to Lincoln Center to get a couple street style photos in my spare time.  These are a couple of my favorites from the few hours I was there.
